The vineyard planted on a clayer-limestone soil is located at the junction of several great terroir: Pomerol, Saint-Emilion, Lalande de Pomerol and Montagne Saint-Emilion.An elegant dry wine with a deep red colour with accents of black and red berries and succulent tannins

Chateau Hostens-Picant is a first quality wine of the Appellation Sainte-Foy Bordeaux which has existed since 1929 but few people were using it until recently. The vineyards are located 24 km from St. Emilion.
The grapes are picked manually followed by a selective pickout. Each category of grapes is matured separatly in new oak barriques for 11 months with periodic stiring of the lees. The final blend does not occur before the end of the aging period giving this rich golden wine a special natural onctuous sweetness. With a hearty bright pale yellow colour, this wihe has floral hints of jasmine and linden with hints of peach and pear and a touch of nuttiness, underlining an elegant structure and great aromatic complexity.  Well balanced and fresh with rich finish backed by a nice minerality.
A great companion for fish, chicken or light meat dishes, charcuterie and  cheeses.

Chapelle's vines are 50 years old, considered the perfect age - low yield but still enough vigor and health - to produce an even crop. The vineyard is just across Puligny-Montrachet, recognized as one of the greatest chardonnay producing village in the world.
From the 2001 vintage, this wine is slightly crisper than the wines produced in the more plentiful vintages 1999 and 2000, making it highly attractive, with good mineral definition and slightly less opulent than the best of the previous vintages. Rich, loaded with creamy fruits and classic green apples and just enough toasty oak to round it in the palate. With proper decantation, the wine opens up to reveal far more complexity than one would expect. The site, the age of the vines, the vintage and the winemaker all  what the French call "terroir" give to this wine a tremendous appeal. Perfect companion for fish and meats and sharp cheeses.

Raised on a 9.5ha familial property established in 1887, the grapes are harvested manually and the production and vinification methods are very traditional. The wine from the vintage 2005, considered as the probably best ever vintage for burgundy wines, is matured in oak barrels with less than 20% of new oak. This wine has a  profundity of soil in its aromatic and flavor profile. The nose is deep and classy, offering notes of apple, white peach, spring flowers, a touch of vanilla and an excellent base of chalky stoniness.  Medium-full on the palate, deep and snappy, with lovely soil inflection balanced by crisp acids and excellent length and complexity. Great companion to fish (sushis, sashimis) or seafood, light dishes and cheeses.
